Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar.
