The Pearl of Whakatiwai

The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed with view of Tikapa Moana and the Coromandel. A great little kitchen with oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need. No TV, but great WiFi available. The price has recently increased but I didn’t increase my amount.

We have two kayaks that you are welcome to use. Plus for the more adventurous, the FourForty mountain bike track is only minutes drive. There are also many great walks close by. Or....relax on the deck overlooking the beautiful countryside. The cabin has one bed (queen size) plus a foldout single stretcher bed.
