Stroll around the outskirts of town or head off on foot to explore the moors, woodlands and villages. The coast, Dalby and Cropton forest, North York Moors National Park, Pickering steam railway, Flamingoland, Malton and the city of York are in easy driving distance.

The Courtyard Annexe (Please read all description)

Welcome to the Courtyard Annexe, part of our Georgian house, in the centre of Kirkbymoorside. We are not a self catering unit (no guest kitchen) or a rented second home but a more traditional bed and breakfast. We'll meet you upon arrival and show you to the part of our home that is your own separate, private space. We provide a 'tea and toast' breakfast, whilst other meals can be sourced in town. Bear in mind this is an old building with lots of steps. Please read the fuller description.

Perfect for walkers , cyclists or anyone just wishing to enjoy the beauty of the North Yorkshire moors. Flamingo land only a ten minute drive. Contained garden for pets to get fresh air. Kirkbymoorside is less than a mile away and has shops, pubs and restaurants . Also a number of excellent country pubs offering fabulous food within 3 or 4 miles .

Take a break and unwind in a characterful cottage set in beautiful countryside. This 18th century grade-II listed property is right beside the River Seven, in the picturesque village of Sinnington, and the North York Moors National Park. The cottage is full of original character, whilst having all the amenities needed for a relaxing break. Many amazing walks can be enjoyed from right outside the door and the wonderful village pub and restaurant is only a few minutes walk away.

Stunning rural shepherds hut

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.

Close to local attractions such as Dalby Forest, Flamingo Land, Castle Howard, Pickering Railway. A great base to explore North Yorkshire Moors. Ample outside seating and space. Option to add more guests in your party, in the summer by pitching a tent next to the cabin for an additional fee.

Old Forge in Wrelton, North Yorkshire.

This cottage, in the village of Wrelton near Pickering, was a 19th century blacksmith's forge and has now been renovated into a delightful living space complete with fully-equipped kitchen, large living room area, bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy bedroom located on a mezzanine floor which is reached via a spiral staircase. The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.
