Pop's Cabin at Camp Skoglund

Pop's Cabin is a special place. Part of a summer boy's camp started by my father in 1956 it was the home of my Norwegian grandparents every summer. For the last 20+ years it has been a summer rental cottage for guests at our seasonal camp, Camp Skoglund. Now that I have semi-retired Camp Skoglund has two cottages for rent, as opposed to five, with the same amenities, boats, and docks as before. Spacious living area, gas stove for heat, master bedroom with queen bed, twin beds in 2nd bedroom.

Beautiful four-season waterfront cottage located on the outskirts of Augusta. The main living space has a full kitchen, living room/dining space, bathroom with laundry, and bedroom (queen bed). The walk-out basement, with its own bathroom, offers a cabin-style space to lounge in or as a second bedroom. Or stay outside and enjoy the water views from the second-story deck or ground-level fire pit. Either spot is an amazing place to enjoy the night sky and listen to the loons and eagles!

Stella the Studio Apartment

Stella is a cabin-style, pet-friendly studio apartment on 100 acres of wooded property. Enjoy the property's amenities (trails, kayaking, canoeing, axe throwing, wood-fired pizza oven) and return to your comfortable space with a hot tub, power, heat, and plumbing! Stella is located at the start of the land, above our storage building, has plenty of parking and can be reached with 2wd vehicles. This is a new space, exterior is unfinished. The hot tub is an Aqualiving 3 person lounge!

The pond is full of fish for summer, or ice fishing. Just had a new dock installed. Enjoy. We asked to not use a gas motor on the lake, to help keep the beauty and pristine waters of the lake. Please no more than 2 pets per stay.
