Ropewalk Cottage - A Little Treasure By The Coast

A stone’s throw from the shore, ideally placed to enjoy a relaxing visit to local restaurants, attractions and great outdoor activities on both sides of Strangford Lough. A lovingly restyled cosy cottage, filled with treasures and curios to enjoy in the relaxing atmosphere overlooking our garden and views to the castle. Private parking, 49 km to Belfast. The studio comes with a lounge area, a flat-screen TV, a kitchen and dining area. Continental breakfast available on request when booking.

This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Strangford - enjoy water sports (especially swimming), walking, cycling, bird watching, relaxing and much more in our cosy one-bedroom home. Certified by Tourism NI, all our rooms (except the bathroom!) have spectacular sea views. Restaurants only a short drive away with mountains, golf courses, nature reserves and much more within easy reach.

Ballyhornan Cottage

A beautiful cottage, set off the main road with private parking and large back garden. Surrounded by fields and only a 2 minute walk to Killard beach and the start of the breathtaking Killard National Reserve walk. Just a 10 minute walk in the other direction will have you at Ballyhornan Beach. Castle Ward Estate and Winterfell (GOT) is only 4 miles away and so is the picturesque village of Strangford with plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy. The house has been recently refurbished.

The Little Birdhouse

Graded 5 Star by Tourism NI, our tiny cottage dates from the 1700s. Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. The cottage has recently been renovated but retains its historic charm. The furnishings are a mix of antique, vintage and second-hand finds that come together to create a cosy, relaxed, eclectic vibe that's stylish and reflects our commitment to recycle and re-use.

It is an adults only cottage so no under 18s allowed to stay or visit. No pets allowed to stay or visit.

Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.
