There are 2 incredible beaches within walking distance of the cottage as well as amazing scenery. Island hopping adventures abound with 4 ferries within a short drive offering day trips to Gigha, Islay, Jura, Arran and Cowal.

This beautiful Arts and Crafts Grade 1 listed cottage is unique with its low lying red tiled roof creating a verandah with a built in seat where you can admire the view of the islands of Gigha, Islay and Jura as well as fabulous sunsets in the west. We have owned next door for 35 yrs. It has been fully refurbished by ourselves with personal touches and items that reflect the surrounding coastal landscape. We use eco friendly non animal tested products for cleaning etc. Non pesticide garden.

Designed by architect Roderick James and built by a crack team of smashing local chaps, the Drum is a perfect bolt hole for two. It has a wood burning stove and a big squashy velvet sofa, floor to ceiling triple glazed windows and is nestled in woodland on a small estate (complete with castle) and just moments from the sea.
