Strathyre is located at the top of Loch Lubnaig 15 minutes north of the pretty town of Callander and 40 minutes from Stirling.

Local attractions include the oldest whiskey distillery, numerous walks and nearby Munros, and a wildlife centre at nearby Comrie. The town has a selection of lovely parks suitable for all ages.

St Fillans is a picturesque village and provides a great base for exploring rural Perthshire including 43 local Munro’s. Situated on the grounds of a working sheep farm, guests can enjoy the quiet atmosphere. In this walking hotspot there is also ample other activities such as cycling, fishing, golf and water sports on loch Earn.

My unusual holiday home is part of the unique Bridge House built over the River Ardle in k1881. It has recently been renovated to a warm and cosy standard! Next door is the breakfast bar, kitchen and a utility room. Upstairs is the master bedroom, twin room and brand new bathroom. There is a charming garden with outdoor dining area.
