Our tiny house in the trees is set amongst the ferns and pongas with seclusion in mind, only native birds as close neighbours. No road noise, off street parking. Nature permitting, you can star gaze while soaking in the outdoor bath, spot the milky way, or our very own glow worms. 15mins drive to CBD and Eat street, Gondolas, Canopy Tours, Hobbiton approximately an hour away.

Lake Karapiro Vista - with a WOW view

My comfortable home overlooks Lake Karapiro. It has superb, uninterrupted, water, mountain and country views. Sunsets can be amazing and you can see it all while relaxing in the outdoor bath. The home is close to many activities and places of interest eg. Waikato River Trails, Hobbiton, Blue Spring, Arapuni Suspension bridge , Sanctuary Mountain and Riverside Adventures. Only 20mins drive from Cambridge. Our delightful cabin offers the best of country life with your very own private deck, hot tub and Queen-sized bed. Basic kitchen facilities, TV and bathroom are all provided. What more could you want?

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Quiet Gettaway

The quiet gettaway is a peaceful and private unit. Guests are able to feel at home and relax amongst nature. The unit faces a reserve full of trees that provide gorgeous sunset views. Tokoroa is an ideal location for travelers wanting to explore the central North Island. It is short driving distance to many great NZ attractions. The accommodation is located on the edge of a small and friendly rural town. Beautiful green Waikato country side with dairy farms are next to the reserve.

The Pink House

This lovely small cottage originally came into my family as a retirment home for my (then) 90 year old mother, Olive. She loved the place except for its original colour and so promptly painted it Pink. The house has many of her touches still in it, such as the cross stitch pictures framed on the walls. Nana Olive was well known through Tokoroa for her hospitality and warm welcome she offered at the Pink House, and we are delighted to continue this tradition.

Enjoy a soak in the outdoor cedar bathtub while overlooking Rotorua. A 5 minute pedal will have you in the forest, connecting to the forest loop. Local cafes and pubs are only a couple minutes drive down the hill with the CBD a 10 minute drive.
