The Aspen Carriage House provides you with a wooded and restorative retreat at the foothills of Sleeping Lady Mountain to either relax, adventure, or just work remotely. Our 1,000 SF carriage house is tucked away in 5 acres of secluded forest, yet within 2 miles of all the Bavarian mountain town amenities of downtown Leavenworth. Our carriage house is also the perfect home base whether you're coming in to town for Oktoberfest, Leavenworth's Christmas light celebration, hike or just to relax.

It provides a living area, walk-in closet and bathroom. We are located in a quiet neighborhood two miles north of town. You can easily access the University, restaurants, and entertainment options. "The Shedd" used to be a shed before our architect got a hold of it and turned it into a retreat for writing, reading, and napping. The 800 sq. ft. guesthouse has a bedroom, bathroom w/ walk-in shower, small kitchen, dining nook, sitting area, desk, wifi, and A/C. Even though it's just a 7-minute walk to the village, our place backs up to the wilderness, with great views of Tumwater Mountain and Icicle Ridge. Best of all, The Shedd has many windows and lots of fresh air and natural light.

Explore the boutiques & restaurants, or for a little adventure~ try the alpine coaster. Fall is the perfect time to step into the beauty that surrounds us.

Keep all your gear warm and dry and use the kitchen to prepare meals. Silver Fir is a great base camp with day and night skiing, and Summit West, East and Central are accessible by the chairlift.
