The Manor House @ Cradle Farms

The Manor House is located on a farm in the Cradle of Humankind, Cradle Farms. If you enjoy exclusivity, the outdoors and a farm life not too far from the city, you will definitely enjoy your stay here. The guest house has 5 rooms and can accommodate up to 10 people. You can enjoy simple but yet very fulfilling farm activities while you stay with us. There is a swimming pool, lappa, braai area and a big boma fire area for cozy fire-side chats. There are many other attractions close to the farm.

Alto Log Cabin

Set on a protea farm in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, Alto Cabin provides tranquil and relaxing accommodation for up to 4 people in a self catering log cabin. Guests have the option of either unwinding and enjoying the spectacular views from the cabin; visit the many fossil sights and museums in the area; embark on a 4x4 trail nearby or enjoy a horseback safari through the neighbouring reserve on one of our guided horse trails, suitable for the beginner or the more experienced rider.

Both our charming cottages are situated in the leafy gardens of the 140-year-old homestead, yet you can enjoy complete privacy. So, if you need peace and quiet to revitalise in true country style, surrounded by the activities, sounds and smells of a working farm, this is the right place for you!

Artist's retreat farm

Settle in at this unique space - a private space to fully unwind and let creativity unfold among a welcoming community. It is a private loft guesthouse at a shared creative farm. The loft offers one queen size bed, an open kitchen with a gas stove, fridge, all cooking utilities. There is a comfortable seating area, a large desk, cupboards, books, and yoga mats. The double bed is comfortable and cozy. It is very spacious and bright with large windows and blockout curtains for privacy.

Because of its size it is not ideal as a romantic getaway for a single couple. It has DSTV with a fireplace for winter and outside a plunge pool and braai (barbeque) area . there are great walks and the bird life is prolific. Come to Puschka Farm and enjoy the comfy beds, the spacious areas, the views, the solitude and the bush atmosphere .

Bridgewaters Horse Park Poolside Rondavel

The Perfect tranquil break away situated 15min away from an array of activities. Includes free access to nearby Sable Hiking trail. Private rodavel situated in the Hekpoort area on a horse farm, enjoy the sound of silence, lay out at the pool and watch the birds, have a braai at the lapa, or go on an adventure to one of the many nearby activities. Situated minutes away from Hot Air ballooning, Hiking, Ziplining, 4x4 trails, beer tasting etc Please note there is no kitchen.

Rambling Rose Cottage

Rambling Rose cottage is a gorgeous quirky character filled double story stone clad cottage in Irene village. It has a lovely thatch roof, & the ground floor ceiling & beams are made out of thick slices of old African hardwood railway sleepers. This gives the cottage a ‘game lodge’ ambiance with an African twist. The cottage is decorated with family collected furniture, original paintings, & a large Iranian Persian rug. Netflix, uncapped WIFI on fibre, all included.

A compact house situated amongst the trees in a pecan nut orchard. This stylish unit is on the Melody Hill Retreat property - Yoga classes and kahuna massages can be arranged on arrival. Feel free to walk in the pecan nut orchard or to walk through the labyrinth. You're bound to spot monkeys, bush babies, squirrels, porcupines and lots of hornbills during your stay. Enjoy perfect winter days next to the wood-burning fireplace.
