The townhouses in Pierrepont Street and Pierrepont Place were named in homage to the family of Evelyn Pierrepont, 2nd Duke of Kingston upon Hull, who sold the Bath Abbey Orchards site to John Wood the Elder and his business partner. Excellent pub food locally at ‘The White Horse’, a minutes stroll away. ‘The White Hart’ at Ford, on the river is excellent.

Powlilea Cottage is a large, self-contained apartment, with a private entrance, attached to my home. There is adequate parking for 1 vehicle and access to my garden to sit and relax. The property is on a quiet country lane in Ditteridge but only a ten minute walk from the village of Box, close to the market town of Corsham, the National Trust village of Lacock and just 6 miles from Bath.
