This home is locally referred to as "The Lodge." It is loaded with rustic charm and tons of trophy mounts, including a full-size gator rug. This house is spacious and yet cozy all at the same time. This home is located in the Ocala national Forest and yet only a half a block away from the park, which includes basketball, volleyball, tennis, softball, shuffleboard, and corn Holes. The caregivers live close by and are very friendly and helpful when needed. NO pets allowed on property.

Due to the extreme drought we are in the water levels are too low to canoe or kayak thru the canal to the lake at this time. Other activities include hiking, hunting, fishing, walking trails, swimming, & ATV trails.

Conveniently situated in the Ocala National Forest, this rustic cabin is surrounded by graceful live oaks and is often visited by wildlife like deer, bear & sandhill cranes. Paddle the Silver River or snorkel the springs. Great fishing is around the bend. PLEASE NOTE: Historic drought has lowered our lake levels significantly. The lake is currently dry infront of the cabin.

The property is just 2 blocks away from a private community boat ramp to Lake Kerr with plenty of room for parking vehicles and trailers. Cook your favorite meal in the fully stocked kitchen or grill your fresh steaks on the grill. Home is stocked with towels and linens for a perfect get away.
