Sandy River Sanctuary and Sauna

Treat yourself to the lower suite of our Sandy River home located just 2 miles from downtown Troutdale, OR. Our suite includes a sauna and an indoor soaking tub (not jetted.) We live above the suite and we have a toddler who is in daycare during the work hours and typically sleeps from 7pm to 7 am. There is a locked, sound absorbing accordian door. Yet, you may still be able to hear us from time to time. We are located on a scenic hwy minutes away from Edgefield and the Columbia River Gorge.

Large windows and double french doors look out on the Willamette river from the cottage living room and loft sleeping area. It includes a semi-private rocky beach, and a large manicured lawn with fire pit. Kayaks are available for use, and guests are welcome to bring their own too! The guesthouse has its own drive-way, and is completely separate from the main-house grounds for privacy.

Rustic Creekside Cabin

This tranquil hideaway feels like you're in the middle of the forest, but is just minutes from Portland. Relax next to the burbling creek surrounded by towering cedar trees. The MAX Orange line and downtown Milwaukie are only five minutes away. Built in 1928, the cabin has one bedroom and bathroom, living room, full kitchen and central heat. The bedroom has one queen bed and an en suite bathroom. There is a pull-out queen futon in the living room.

You will be close to shops, restaurants, riverfront scenery and parks. You will be just a short drive away from Downtown Portland, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, and more surrounding cities as Sellwood is a central location in Portland. Come enjoy our peaceful Creekside Haven, a guest house (built onto the stand-alone garage apart from the main house) nestled in a country forest with a creek. You'll have access to the fire pit for s'mores and the relaxing hammock for two. We're just 18 miles South of downtown Portland. Sorry, no pets, weddings, parties, hair dying, smoking of any substance indoors, or illegal drugs.
