Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life? This is the place for you! Kick back and relax in this stylish home, far enough out of the city to get away, but close enough to enjoy the benefits of city life. Be aware - the house sits on a .5 mile bumpy dirt road, worth it if you are looking for peace and quiet. Due to the location, the best we can do is a data-limited hotspot for WIFI. So, we added a game room. Pets are welcome. The cost is $30 a night per pet that is paid separately.

On just over 2 acres you can Relax and “Reset” at our peaceful and spacious getaway. Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the country but be minutes from restaurants, shopping, downtown Wake Forest and all of the wonderful things our community has to offer. Our land hosts amazing sunrises and sunsets and a star show at night that you most definitely don’t get in town! June of 2021 we finished up a complete re-design/remodel of our modern farmhouse so everything is updated fresh and new!

Woodleaf Wayside

An 1850s cottage listed on the National Register of Historic Places was the Plantation Office for the Massenburg Plantation (Woodleaf). It was restored in 1990 and afterwards, became rental property. This two-story, cozy hideaway has a private drive and patio. Native stone and hand hewn beams in basement bedroom provide an unique stay. Full kitchen, modern bathroom, and washer/dryer. Come and go at your leisure. You will receive a keypad combination a day before your scheduled check-in.

Stunning, private, and truly one-of-a-kind—this unique home is perfect for a vacation, staycation, special occasion, or simply celebrating everyday life. Designed by renowned modernist architect Frank Harmon. The 2,128-square-foot residence sits on 1.3 acres and was crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Inside, you’ll feel nestled among the treetops while remaining conveniently close to restaurants, shopping, downtown Raleigh, WakeMed, UNC, Duke, and Research Triangle Park.

Two Dachshund Farm (Lavender & Fiber Farm), LLC

Stay on a working fiber/lavender farm convenient to the Raleigh/Durham area - 20 min. from Interstate 85 & 50 min. from 95. Interact with our alpacas, sheep, llamas, Angora goats, donkeys, & more. Shop our farm store, stroll the property. Tours are free for registered guests. Friends may join the tour for a fee. Use of the pool is for registered guests only. Twenty stairs lead up to the 700 sq ft over-the-garage apartment with private entrance. Includes a king bed & pullout couch.

Antler & Oak (Wheless Farms, LLC)

Set in the country for a Peaceful setting where you can hear the birds sing and see our beautiful flowers and enjoy sitting on the front porch and relaxing. We originally started as a Bed & Breakfast called Antler & Oak in Franklin County, located just north of Raleigh and East of Wake Forest. The place is 100 years old, renovated the front portion for use to accommodate guests. Guests have full access to the space including a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths.

The Japandi Dome

Experience a taste of Japandi in this dome home on our small homestead, and enjoy the mind and body benefits of being closer to nature with the comforts of indoor amenities. This unique space is built with a full skylight to allow you to sleep under the night sky. Complete with heating and A/C for year-round comfort, a full zen-inspired bathroom, and luxury European bedding. Enjoy your meal around a Japanese inspired floor table with straw mats and meditation cushion for seating.

Relax with the whole family in this warm and spacious cabin nestled on 11 wooded acres. A long gravel driveway leads you beside two beautiful horse farms with your private retreat tucked away in the woods. You will enjoy all of the benefits of a private, wooded retreat while conveniently located just minutes from all that Wake Forest, Youngsville, and Franklinton have to offer. Screened porches, a spacious open concept living room/kitchen area, with two adorable bedrooms.

Cozy Coop Barn Apartment on Hobby Farm

Cozy and modern apartment inside a working hobby farm barn. Upstairs holds one bedroom with a queen bed. Loft area upstairs has a convertible futon with a TV/blue ray/dvd. Downstairs is a nearly full eat in kitchen (only missing a stove) and the spacious bathroom with stand up shower. A grill is also available on the large covered porch. Guests have access to large covered porch, playground and yard area. Farm chores done 2 times daily. Pets allowed with fee.
