Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

This rustic but charming cabin with lofted bed features a beautiful lakefront deck and fire pit, all tucked away in Minnesota's Northwoods. A public boat launch literally right next to the driveway, you can launch your boat for a week of fishing, cruising or tubing any day of the summer. In the winter use the ice road to take your snowmobile right onto the lake trails or drive down the plowed ice road to one of Vermilions best ice fishing spots. With many other trails and golf courses near by this is a year round outdoor paradise.

The Wandering Moose -Cabin Getaway, with Sauna!

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.

This adorable one bedroom cabin with kitchenette and kitchen table is at the end of the road and is quiet and private but has access to all the amenities of the Wilderness Wind resort.
