Three minutes drive takes you to historical and quirky Port Chalmers with its many pubs, cafes and galleries. Less than a kilometer away from the cottage is the start of a track through native bush to the top of Mount Cargill with panoramic views of the Otago Harbour. The cottage is situated in a very private and tranquil setting in a 5 acre (2 hectare) block of native bush and gardens yet is still close to town. The Cottage is a two bedroom fully contained dwelling. It's an older wooden cottage so it's basic and has a few quirks but it has all the amenities to keep you comfy and cosy for a short term or long term stay.
