This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Come stay in our cottage, on the shores of peaceful, uncrowded Negeek Lake, nestled amoung the towering pines. Our 800 sqft cottage is steps away from the sandy, kid-friendly shore. The lot is flat and is perfect for all ages. Fish right off the dock, relax in a chair, swim in the water or even visit the surrounding area. Negeek Lake gives you access to 90km of navigable water. Includes an indoor wood stove, an outdoor fire pit with wood, satellite TV, gas BBQ, a canoe and a kayak.

The recent renovations include a tastefully decorated space with the feel of a cozy Canadian cabin.. The beds are excellent. Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
