Located on a high-bank of the Muskegon River with spectacular views of the river valley, this newly remodeled cabin will give you the getaway you are looking for. You are minutes from boat launches to fish, kayak, or canoe the Muskegon River, Croton or Hardy Pond. The North Country Trail and the new 40-mile Dragon Trail are less than 15 minutes away for hiking and biking enthusiasts. Enjoy beautiful views and peaceful relaxation at the River Valley View cabin. Enjoy your private hot tub retreat where seclusion meets adventure! 200 feet from The Dragon Trailhead, this is the perfect launch point for a day of biking or hiking through the scenic woods, then return home and slip into the hot tub under the open sky. For those who love the water, take a leisurely 10-minute stroll down to Hardy Dam Pond at Sandy Beach County Park, where the kids can splash and play while you relax or try paddleboarding on one of our 2 paddle boards available for your use.

In the summer, access a detached bunkhouse, blackstone grill, and plenty of outdoor seating! Explore biking and hiking the White Pine Trail or enjoy ORV trails. Big Rapids is a 25 min drive for restaurants, groceries, & breweries. Plenty of amazing day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Caberfae, and Lake Michigan!

Relax on the 3 season porch and view amazing sunsets from beautiful Big Whitefish Lake, a 550 acre all seasons sports lake. Close to 2 golf courses, Pilgrims Run and Whitefish Lake Golf & Grill. Nearby public boat launch for easy access to fishing and boating is less than a 5 minute drive away. The cottage is not on the lake so the only access to swimming is from your boat. No smoking and no pets please.

It comes complete with private lake frontage, dock, and an extensive shallow sandy bottom. Big Whitefish lake is an all seasons, all sports lake that is perfect for any occasion.

Green Acres: Your Home Among the Trees

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).

This immaculate cottage is only 25 minutes from Greenville and 35-45 minutes from Grand Rapids and Rockford.

Close to 131 highway, Hardy Dam, Dragon Trail, restaurants and more. We live on site, but our home is completely separate from guest house.
