Highland loch-side, 2 bed house with amazing view.

"Dail an Fheidh" (gaelic for "Deer Field") is a 2 bedroom house situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Linnhe. The house is set in an acre of field and has direct access to the loch. There are amazing views over to Ben Nevis and red deer graze near the house, all year long. A 40 minute drive will take you to the popular town of Fort William or head west to explore the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula. You can use the Corran Ferry to access the house, but please note, we are not on an island.

This distinctive building, renovated both inside and out, started life as a primary school in 1966 and its modernist design is unique for the area. You will be surrounded by art, vintage furniture, natural textiles and amazing views during your stay. Lovely 2 bedroom cottage with amazing views of Ben Nevis. Our cottage sleeps up to 4 adults, a travel cot and a high chair are available on request. It is 2.1 miles from Fort William town centre so is a 7 minute drive by car. There are bus stops right beside the cottage too. It has a private garden area at the back of the property with a table and chairs. It is a just a 1 minute walk to Farmfoods supermarket and Aldi and Marks and Spencer’s supermarkets are a 3 minute drive away.

It is a 5 minute walk to the historical site of Inverlochy Castle. The house boasts spectacular views of Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis and the Jacobite Railway track. There is free on the street parking. There is a take-away and bike hire shop in the village of Inverlochy. Supermarkets M&S,Aldi are only a short walk from the house .
