Bookeen Hall is a 200 year old restored church about 20 mins from Galway City and within easy reach of the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Connemara. We are a short drive from Lignum (restaurant). We offer a private room (with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed) with a private bathroom. For larger groups there is a second room (with 1 king size bed), so we can accommodate up to 5. The nearest train station is 8 miles away in Athenry. We live here with our dogs and look forward to meeting you!

Mary, the host, has been hosting guests in her home for over 20 years but has only recently joined AirBNB and is keen to welcome back guests. Some of the most beautiful walks begin in Carron which are mapped out to hike on your own. My home is next to the Cusack Way walk. The River Room exudes an enchanting charm with its outdoor terrace over looking the River Clare and the Medieval Castle Courtyard. Immerse yourself in the captivating ambiance as you bask in the serenity and splendor of the castle grounds. This room is very cosy with under-floor heating and luxurious bedding. Includes a complimentary bottle of red wine, tea/coffee & a generous continental breakfast. You will get a private tour of the Castle Tower after breakfast.

One of 3 rented rooms in our home. Single bunk beds in private room. Shared kitchen, Sitting room and bathroom. 10 minutes drive to Doolin, Lahinch, the Burren National Park and the Cliffs of Moher.
