The home is a short walk to restaurants, including the Double Musky (voted #1 in AK), the town square & Girdwood Brewery! The home has a BBQ, and a record player with lots of classic vinyl! Optional Electric Heat, Propane Wall Heater And Fan. This is quiet place and we live on site. No noise or loud music. No extra guest or vehicles. No pets. Cabin is 10 feet by 12 feet, therefore not suitable for children.

Lots of local knowledge to help you in any way with ideas, restaurants, activities and directions and sometimes, adorable husky puppies to play with! Bike rentals available on property!

Forest Yurt

Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!
