Urban Tranquilatree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

The space is suitable for a family of 4 or a group of 4 friends. There is a sofa bed for extra guests above 2 at an extra cost. The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Outside guests have their own patio and garden area with seating

The cottage maintains many original features including the original stone floor and hearth. It’s set on its own private garden where you can truly enjoy the peace and quiet of this amazing place and is also an ideal base for discovering so much including the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Penninsula.

Guests have private off-road parking and your own outdoor space All in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by lovely country walks.

12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. Everything should be there to make the cottage home away from home. I am contactable by phone or in person if required.

Apartment over Traditional Pub in little village

Guests will be staying upstairs over a village pub so can expect some noise until closing time,no food served in bar but menus for places that deliver left in space. Bar downstairs opens at 6.00 pm during week,Sundays bar opens at 2pm. Music some Saturday nights guests will be told when they book. Irish Story and Sing Night the Last Wednesday of every month till midnight which guests are welcome to visit songs and stories and a cup of tea half way through night
