We affectionately call it Frog Stomp because our neighbors have a pond and during the summer there are hundreds of baby tadpoles that are make their way around the guesthouse. Welcome to our craftsman home in a quiet neighborhood near the Flint River. This is the perfect location for business travelers and families. Our home is quiet, cozy, with a hint of luxury. Take a moment to enjoy nature as you sit by the trellis and feed the Koi fish. TV's in each room, with Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video and wireless high speed internet. This little cabin is the perfect place for a quite get away . A country setting where you can enjoy walking trails and a spring fed creek perfect for wading and swimming. At night sit by the fire pit and enjoy the country atmosphere with an abundance of wildlife. The cabin sits on 68 acres you can explore and has 2 bedroom 1 bath sleeps up to 5. Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville.

Welcome to your (earthen) home away from home! This earthen home was constructed by Mr. Bill Adams, a direct descendent of Pres. John Adams and a veteran who served in the Allied occupation of Japan following WWII. Going further back, this was one of the first areas to be settled. It was part of the "Sims Settlement" and was defended during the War of 1812 by James and William Slaughter. Settlers farmed the fertile land near Indian Creek, now called the Indian Creek Greenway - 4 mins away.
