Il fait parti du Domaine Chez Alma, comptant 3 petits chalets. Il sera le lieu parfait pour la création de souvenirs heureux en famille ou entre amis. Il est composé de 2 chambres avec des lits superposés (double au bas) et d'une salle de bain complète. Vous serez entouré de 2 des plus belles plages des Îles à seulement 5 minutes de voiture!!

Situé à quelques enjambées du site touristique de la Côte, de lieux de spectacle, boutiques, restos, port où entrent quotidiennement les homardiers, poissonnerie, plages et autres activités diverses. Le superbe terrain de golf des Îles, la fameuse plage du Corfu ainsi que de la réputée brasserie À l’abri de la Tempête se trouvent également à distance de marche.

The Sawmill

Nestled in a basin of mountains, rivers and ocean, The Saw Mill is a remote, rustic, historic home amidst the Cape Breton Highlands. Built in 1867, it is the second oldest house in Pleasant Bay and has been many different things to the community throughout the years, including: a post office, a general store, one of the first school teachers and of course, a sawmill. A winding trail from the house leads you directly to Red River Beach, a community beach with ocean and river access.

I have a large 4 bedroom house, completely renovated in 2005. 3 queen beds 1 double bed. It is very modern with hardwood flooring all through, a large patio and gazebo. The gazebo can also be used as a guest house or, it can simply be used for dining or relaxation purposes with a view of the harbour & ocean. The house has a large bathroom with a stand-up shower, double sink, vanity and a large therapeutic bathtub.

I am confident you will enjoy your stay in this small community that hosts one of two anglophone populations on the islands. Hospitality abound as you visit with the locals at the local wharf and sometimes even hitch a ride to fish some mackeral! A very quiet area with a rich history and stories of shipwrecks. Free firewood provided for the outdoor firepit as well.
