The cottage enjoys a mountain view on the Wild Atlantic Way - 0.75 km from Lettermacaward village (2 shops, 2 pubs, cycle track) - Mountain/ hill walking - Elliott’s bar – Traditional music Friday (0.5km) - 4.5km from Dooey beach (Walking/ surfing) - The house is in the countryside - A car is required

The Rockhouse - a refurbished, traditional cottage set in generous landscaped grounds, including a small wood and stream. A peaceful location to relax and unwind in, with no TV but good WIFI. An ideal base from which to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, the new Blueway to Arranmore and the scenery of The Rosses and Donegal. Several beaches are a few minutes drive away and numerous walks around the surrounding area. Dungloe (An Clochan Liath) is only a 6km drive with bars, restaurants and shops.

Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

2 miles to Cashel, Glencolmcille village (pubs, shop, takeaway, trad music). Sliabh Liag cliffs 15 minutes away. 5 minute drive or 50 minute walk to Glen Beach. Visit Folk Village, Oideas Gael for Irish language, hill walking or just relax! Beautiful scenery, lovely beaches. Wee House has oil-fired heating, satellite TV, books, garden space and board games available. A place to escape from the hustle & bustle. Mobile phone signal is limited due to hills. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.
