You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. Hi, hello, welcome! We are excited to have the opportunity to host you for your relaxing trip or jam packed adventure. Our local area has many hiking opportunities to explore, the Southern Illinois Wine Trail surrounds us, and the back roads have country views that are breathtaking. Our cabin will be waiting for your arrival or return, well equipped with a 55" TV above the gas fireplace, a comfortable King size bed, and an amazing back porch with a Weber Grill and huge hot tub.

Modern Cabin at Trillium Ridge

Tucked into the rolling hills of the Shawnee National Forest, our modern cabin offers a welcoming retreat where comfort and nature meet. Wander down a private trail to explore or climb at the Holy Boulders, or take an easy drive to local wineries and see the iconic sights of Little Grand Canyon, Inspiration Point, and Pomona Natural Bridge. When you’re ready to slow down, return to soak in the hot tub, unwind in the sauna, and settle into our cabin made for rest and connection.

Bald Knob Cabin

Located in heart of Shawnee National Forest, Bald Knob Wilderness and River To River Trail , is a former orchard turned cozy hiker/biker haven. Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass.

Farmhouse Cellars @Feather Hills Vineyard & Winery

Located on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, Farmhouse Cellars is located within our working winery at Feather Hills Vineyard & Winery. You have the opportunity to look in on the wine making process while enjoying a quiet, comfortable place to rest your head. This is a large space with open kitchen, living and sleeping areas. The front porch offers a beautiful sunset while looking over the vineyards and you are but a short walk from our tasting room where you can enjoy a tasting.
