Shepherd's Hut with views of the Old Man of Storr

Tigh Dhomhnaill

House lies below the famous Quiraing mountain range a popular film location and haven for walkers and photographers throughout the year. A short walk from the house leads to Staffin beach where you can explore for fossils and look for the Dinosaur footprints from 165 million years ago! Surrounded by the stunning scenery many local attractions and amenities are within walking distance.

Greenacres is a Privately located three bedroom detached house found in the north east peninsula of skye known as Trotternish. Greenacres has panoramic views both out the front and behind it’s location. It overlooks a tidal bay with sandy beach that is only 10 mins walk away and behind you will see the Quiraing mountain. Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. Taigh 'n Rois is cosy 19th Century refurbished traditional crofting cottage which is full of character. It has an original Box bed- perfect for curling up in front of the wood burning stove. Set below the Trotternish ridge Taigh 'n Rois has panoramic views across Staffin and the Quiraing and is a perfect base to explore the amazing scenery and impressive Jurrasic landscape of north Skye. The kilt rock, Old Man of Storr and the famous dinosaur footprints are all nearby.

Situated in North West Scottish Highlands approximately 80 miles from Inverness, in a beautiful and tranquil setting, 10 minutes walk from the local beach and a short drive to Mellon Udrigle a sensationally beautiful beach. It is a good area for walkers of all abilities. There is ample parking for two cars and a there is a garden with tables and chairs and a barbeque. Dogs accommodated, but there are sheep around so they must be kept under control.
