Mosswood Cabin is a cozy (hygge, gezellig) 700 sq ft year-round cabin located on the Manitoba Escarpment. 8000 years ago, it was lakefront property on Glacial Lake Agassiz, now it’s 40 acres of gorgeous parkland forest, with a seasonal creek winding its way through a deep ravine, access to many kilometres of multi-use trails, and part of a regular raptor, songbird, and monarch migratory route. Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (6-8 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2026) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.
