Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is surrounded by the natural beauty, lush valleys and rolling hills of the Margaree River. With scenic drives along the way, our beaches are perfect for a day of sun. If you love fishing, the Margaree River offers some of the best salmon fishing in North America. Enjoy world-class golfing at nearby courses, including the renowned Cabot Links / Cliffs. Eagles often soar around our property so keep an eye out for these spectacular sightings. Explore, relax & enjoy!

Boat House - Tiny House Oceanfront Resort

The Boat House is a finely crafted tiny home designed like the warm hull of a boat, with wood beams and ocean views. Enjoy a cozy living space, full kitchen, fast WiFi, and bathroom. There are two lofts, a primary with a queen bed, accessed by a custom staircase, and a second with a double bed accessed by ladder. Relax by the fire, BBQ, or explore the water included kayaks & SUPs. Perfect for a couples retreat or small families. No pets. Discounts applied for stays longer than 1 night.

Wild Rose Cottage

This cottage is centrally located between Baddeck, Inverness and Cheticamp. It is approximately 30 min each way. It features a lovely, large back yard with firepit area and mountain views. The Portree bridge is a short walk down the road, which is a popular swimming spot. The river runs along the opposite side of the road. There are lots of local beaches, hiking trails and golf courses in the area. The property also has direct access to the highland snowmobile/atv trails.

Off-grid riverfront guesthouse

This is a special riverfront setting directly on the Cabot Trail. Use it as your launching point for Cape Breton adventures of beaches, waterfalls and hiking. Wake up to birds chirping as you sip on your coffee in a cozy timber frame cottage overlooking the banks of the Margaree River. Our property, along with the guesthouse is completely off-grid and 100% powered by solar. There’s pathway to the river for swimming and kayaking. Private wood fired forrest sauna.
