Seaside Cabot Trail Retreat

Escape to our oceanfront paradise in St. Ann's Bay on the scenic Cabot Trail! This brand new, spacious 2-bed home offers modern design and open concept living. Sleeps 6 with a queen bedroom, a bedroom with bunk beds (double on the bottom and single up top) and a pull-out sofa. Enjoy stunning sunsets, mountain views, and easy access to sightseeing, hiking, boat tours, and restaurants. Immerse yourself in the charm and beauty of Cape Breton, & create unforgettable memories during your stay.

Boat House - Tiny House Oceanfront Resort

The Boat House is a finely crafted tiny home designed like the warm hull of a boat, with wood beams and ocean views. Enjoy a cozy living space, full kitchen, fast WiFi, and bathroom. There are two lofts, a primary with a queen bed, accessed by a custom staircase, and a second with a double bed accessed by ladder. Relax by the fire, BBQ, or explore the water included kayaks & SUPs. Perfect for a couples retreat or small families. No pets. Discounts applied for stays longer than 1 night.

Wild Rose Cottage

This cottage is centrally located between Baddeck, Inverness and Cheticamp. It is approximately 30 min each way. It features a lovely, large back yard with firepit area and mountain views. The Portree bridge is a short walk down the road, which is a popular swimming spot. The river runs along the opposite side of the road. There are lots of local beaches, hiking trails and golf courses in the area. The property also has direct access to the highland snowmobile/atv trails.

Off-grid riverfront guesthouse

This is a special riverfront setting directly on the Cabot Trail. Use it as your launching point for Cape Breton adventures of beaches, waterfalls and hiking. Wake up to birds chirping as you sip on your coffee in a cozy timber frame cottage overlooking the banks of the Margaree River. Our property, along with the guesthouse is completely off-grid and 100% powered by solar. There’s pathway to the river for swimming and kayaking. Private wood fired forrest sauna.

The red cabin

Welcome to the Red Cottage in Big Intervale, where you can wake up to the soothing sound of the Margaree River and the gentle breeze of the giant maple trees. It is the perfect place for those who seek a peaceful relaxing getaway. Dip into the cool water of the pristine river, through a Fly-line in Wards Rock Pool on the Margaree River! Set out on a scenic side-by-side tour to the Highlands. All trails start at the cottage.

Swallow Bank Cottage #5, two bedroom on the River

Two bedroom cottage located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 5 has a queen bed, two twin beds, and a sofa bed in the living area. The covered front porch is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring beautiful Cape Breton Island. Guests can check-in after 3pm. Check out is 11am.

Riverside Retreat

Located across the road from some of the best fishing pools on the renouned Margaree River, and centrally located (within 30 mins respectively) to Cabot Cliffs, Cabot Links, Bell Bay, and Le Portage golf courses. Ideally located for other activities such as tubing down the river, cycling the Cabot Trail and close to a grocery store with NSLC Products

Our little Garden Shed is a rustic guesthouse on our family property, perched above the beautiful Margaree Valley and just off the Cabot Trail. It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
