The Surf Sanctuary retreat is minutes away from remote beaches and redwoods. Please note: Redwood Park is 30 minutes away. The sanctuary is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen and bathroom. We are located within a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes away from Redwood State and National Parks. Perfect launch location for hiking, surfing, cycling and enjoying this amazing place. Enjoy our beautiful quiet space for relaxation and renewal. The space is shoe and scent free.

This tiny house awaits you at the end of a gravel road, on a half acre of open yard and sky. Watch birds fly over and listen to the ocean. You are 1.8 mi. by bike to the beach, 2 blocks to the banks of the Mad River, and Hammond Trail. Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport, 30 to Redwood National & State Parks. We’ll share walls so you’ll sometimes hear me, though I try to be a considerate neighbor. Your comfort is very important to me!

Downtown Arcata Studio Apartment is in a fun and lively location just a block from the Arcata Plaza overlooking a popular seafood restaurant and next door to a winery/cidery. Countless restaurants, shops, and the Arcata Co-op are within a block or two. There is free parking in our private parking lot, fast 1 gig/second Wi-fi, washer/dryer in apt, and apt is behind secure gate w/keycode. If your dates aren’t available please let us know and we can add a stay in one of our other two apts.

We are 5 minutes to shopping and dinning and another five to the fabulous Moonstone Beach.

Along with our local craftsman, we have created an oasis that will allow you to soak up the Redwoods, listen to the birds and watch the deer graze. Walking distance to the Majestic Arcata Community forest and Cal Poly Humboldt. As Arcata natives, we wanted to bring you a unique and unforgettable Humboldt experience.
