In the winters enjoy a huge wood burning fire place and watch the snow fall in the big picturesque front windows & tall open beamed ceiling. We are located in a quiet neighborhood to decompress from the hustle and bustle.

Welcome to Camp Earnest, a 21 acre former summer camp tucked into the Sierras in northern California, about 140 miles east of SF. You'll be staying in our Quiet Cabin, one large room w/two beds, day bed, kitchenette, wood stove & bathroom & AC. Camp Earnest sits in a ponderosa, cedar & manzanita forest, w/light snow in the winter & mild summers. We have a year round creek & hikes right off our property. Nearby are Dodge Ridge Ski Area, Pinecrest Lake, Calaveras Big Trees SP & Yosemite NP

You can relax outside on a private deck absorbing the sounds and sights of nature or you can take a five minute walk into the quaint village of Twain Harte where you can enjoy an espresso, many delicious restaurants and unique shops. The private and quiet cottage includes a kitchenette, bathroom w/ shower, deck, carport and a loft bedroom w/ air cooler. It is comfortably romantic for 2 , safe & affordable.
