Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Rookham View Lodge is located on a smallholding on top of the Mendips overlooking Wells. Relax on the patio, catch a view of the Red Kite soaring high, or visit the sheep, ponies, goats, ducks and chickens in the surrounding field. Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. Active or relaxing - we guarantee you will enjoy the view from our Lodge at the end of your day.

The Pear Tree is a light, airy annexe and adjoins a large country house on the outskirts of Street in Somerset. Only a mile from the town centre yet surrounded by fields and a cider orchard. The tree lined drive leads to the main house and three acres of garden. Own entrance, private terrace and parking. Open plan living room, wood stove, TV, large futon. Large, well equipped spacious kitchen. Two bedrooms (sleeps four), family bathroom and downstairs shower room.

Middlezoy is a small, rural village in the heart of Somerset. 6 miles from M5 and the ancient town of Langport, 12 miles from both the county town of Taunton and Clark’s Village in Street. Traditional village gastronomic public house. Renowned cycling routes, good for ramblers. RSPB Greylake 2 miles away. Middlezoy has the well renowned Windmill Hill Spa with licensed cafe which opened last year (please see their website for further details).
