Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Osprey Cottage sits only 20 meters from the beach in the pretty coastal fishing village of Dunure, benefitting from: Lounge, kitchen, bathroom (no bath) & 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 on the ground floor with a king-size bed, bedroom 2 is upstairs, with a double bed and a en-suite shower room. Our small, ground floor, one bedroom flat is situated off the main road in the seaside village of Kilchattan Bay, Isle of Bute. As a family we have been coming on holiday here all our lives and welcome you to use our holiday home. The island is a really lovely place with plenty to explore and do, the house itself features a double bed and bunk bed to the rear and to the front you have a kitchen/living room with TV and Wi-Fi. Pets are welcome. On street parking is never a problem.

Accommodation is in a spacious 2 bedroom Victorian house, built in 1870. It is part of a courtyard with a deli, smokehouse and award-winning seafood restaurant. The house is beside the A78 road, backing onto the Fairlie moors where you can find walking, cycling and hiking routes up Kaim hill with outstanding views of the Clyde coast. If you can be tempted away from gazing out of the south facing sunroom, watching the sea, yachts and other marine traffic, it is less than two minutes’ walk to the water.

Shepherds Cottage - The Plan Farm close to coast

The Shepherds Cottage is situated on the south end of the Isle of Bute. Can sleep 4 adults, and one infant, or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs. 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to the West Island Way and St. Blains Chapel. A 15-20 minute drive gets you to Rothesay. An ideal place for walkers, or families for adventurous holidays. On a working farm with sheep and cattle, so expect some sounds and noises at times.
