Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

I live across the street & clean and sanitize, so I know it is done properly. Note: Optional (additional charge) game room available.

Enjoy a cup of coffee on the wraparound deck, a propane fire on the mid-level deck and a dip in the hot tub at ground-level. This is a small place on a septic system. Not far from Annandale or Maple Lake . 2 vehicle parking. Please note docks come out of water labor day weekend each year. Pontoon rental $200 per day with Gas, $50 cleaning fee if not clean. Fish house rental available.
