John Jensen, a Danish engineer / bricklayer designed our wonderful castle with his family in the 70's. We've modernized and renovated the entire building to make it as comfortable as possible. Walk the beautiful Strip to downtown restaurants, children's parks, local shops & breweries, or spend the day at the beach, and enjoy a relaxing paddle. Our Cozy Cabin features a fire pit, front and back decks, large yard and provided parking.

At Hillwinds House, it’s all about taking a moment to disconnect from your busy life and reconnect with nature. We are excited to share our Alberta landscape with its beautiful sky, empty fields, and close up nature details. The 5 acres are filled with wildflowers, look closely and take a moment to enjoy.

Cozy up in this lumberjack-themed cabin with rustic wood paneling, plaid accents, and vintage logging décor for the perfect backwoods vibe. Sleeps 2 with 1 queen bed, complete with linens, towels, AC, fan, mini fridge, fireplace, and TV. Guests receive scan card access to a private bathroom with heated floors. Unwind in our hillbilly-style wood-burning hot tub (shared with one cabin), relax in the shared sauna, or refresh in the cold plunge at Prairie Junction RV Resort.
