Le Fenil Gite

We are a small independently run campsite nestled in the heart of the hamlet of Montmérac situated amidst vineyards, walnut groves, cornfields and sunflower fields. The village of Baignes is just 5km south or the market town of Barbezieux is just 8km away. We are about 10km from the national route N10 which is half an hour from Angouleme. Cognac Golf course is around 36km away and Hirondelle Golf Course is 42 km. The nearest airport is Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport, 90 km from the accommodation.

We welcome you to our cottage "au son de l'eau", a true haven of peace located at the end of a dead end on the banks of the Charente. Its location makes it a quiet place, ideal for unwinding. This property is divided into 3 independent houses. It is established on a plot of 4000m2. Located on the 'Flow Vélo', you can cycle there on a secure axis. This cycle route connects the Charente maritime estuary to Sarlat La Caneda in the Dordogne over 400km.

Cabane bâtie essentiellement avec des matériaux de récupération sur le petit îlot de notre étang. Aménagement confortable pour séjours courts ou longs. Lieu idéal pour se ressourcer, travailler sur un projet, jouer à des jeux de société, pêcher ou se balader dans la nature (parc, forêt, vignoble). Petit déjeuner, massages et accès piscine possibles. The Barn at Bois Blanc

A spectacular 200 year old barn, given a modern conversion. Bois Blanc is set in private grounds, down its own track surrounded by cognac vineyards. The Barn has a cinematic view mezzanine bedroom, a decking and outdoor furniture and use of swimming pool (normally open for 1st of June but can be earlier, depending on weather.)
