We are located 5 minutes from the Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. We are just far enough out of town to enjoy the peacefulness of nature, but close enough for all of the conveniences. You will have your own, SEPARATE ENTRANCE and space for your privacy, but the OWNERS STILL LIVE IN THE HOME & host other guests in the basement. You will hear us and our 3 DOGS moving around our home. This space has 4 beds that are upstairs. There is also a pool (NOT heated) that you are welcome to use.

This cottage is newly renovated with all modern conveniences: central AC, fast WiFi and EV charger. We are family friendly + love dogs. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, comfortable stay! This vacation dwelling is modern from the outside but inside walls are hand cut logs in most of the house. The original house was built in 1864. It has been up dated with just the right up to date furnishings. The view from the porch is spectacular and the neighborhood is quite. The property is located within minutes of many of our attractions that bring people to this area year around. This vacation property is definitely an unique and family-friendly place. You will want to return again

Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.
