There are a number of trails and outdoor areas to explore as well as a number of close-by amenities within a 5 minute drive including 2 ski resorts. If you really want to indulge, we are also just a 20min drive to the Thermëa spa by Nordik. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to not require a long travel commitment, this place is a great way to relax and unwind.

Located one hour from Toronto, Birchwood is a luxury camping experience for two. Immersed in a private forest on Scugog Island, our geodesic dome allows for a cozy and relaxing getaway. Enjoy the surrounding landscape and check out local shops and restaurants on Port Perry main street. Our geodome is designed for 2 guests however small families of 4 or a group 3 adults are welcome. The backyard leads directly to the lake including a fire pit for your use. Please note that the natural slope of the yard (40 stairs) may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. While the suite doesn't feature a kitchen, Port Perry is only an 8 min drive and offers many culinary options.
