Your accommodation overlooks the village green, and you're less than a mile from the beach!

The Retreat

The retreat is a self -contained little chalet in the Courtyard of Hillside farm. Small play area on site,salon. Relax and enjoy your stay at this unique and tranquil getaway. 'Adventure Prospect' has recently been completely renovated and is steeped in military history. Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines. The cottage provides an ideal escape from everyday life and has direct access to the water.

Our three bedroom, three bathroom stone cottage was extensively renovated and maintained to a high specification. It is nestled in a sheltered spot on a quiet road a short walk from Steephill Cove. It comfortably sleeps six (and maybe a couple of extra children!). Please note that during school summer holidays we are only able to operate check in/out on Saturday.
