The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!

Nestled in a high mountain meadow just above the New River, this 750 square foot cabin has plenty of amenities and nearly 20 acres for your own private Idaho...there are marked and cleared hiking trails...look for the entrance post to the left "1285." This campsite is located in the heart of the forest, off of the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Hiking trails have been closed with the exception of the red trail that leads to a nice waterfall. 4 wheel drive required in winter, shower and sink not available when below freezing. Flexible cancellation for winter. There will be access to water at the faucet just outside the camper and a flushing toilet.
