My cottage is tucked away in a little lane by Shaftesbury hospital. It’s very near to the site of the historic Shaftesbury Abbey, Park Walk with its lovely rolling views over the Dorset countryside. Gold Hill - made famous by the much loved 1970s Hovis Bread TV commercial is within a short walk away. The cottage makes an excellent base from which to explore the borders of beautiful Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset, where the countryside, walking, cycling and dining out opportunities are fantastic.

Our home is in a typical Dorset village. It is one of the oldest properties in the village, but has been renovated to a really high standard. Everything is contemporary with a 'country' feel. Comfort is important to us and you will find a real home from home with the added touches that make staying here extra special!

Lakeside Cottage - at Incombe Farm

Really comfortable and warm converted stables next to our main house but with privacy, standing in idyllic private valley. Less than 2 miles from Shaftesbury. The cottage overlooks our small lake (about 1/2 acre). Peaceful countryside with buzzards, woodpeckers, a barn owl, ducks, pheasants, deer and even otters. See them at your breakfast table or in our enclosed veranda with circular table and overhead heater. Well behaved small / medium dogs only - strictly by prior agreement.
