We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

The Milk House is a unique space located in the countryside, between Iowa City and Kalona. This 700 square foot home has ample parking and room for four adults. The house is well appointed with a full kitchen, two luxurious queen beds, wifi and a Smart TV. Guests are invited to explore our 20-acre working farm with lots of livestock and two friendly dogs. Come relax at this unique and tranquil getaway. This A-frame has all you need, including two jetless fill and drain hot tubs you can enjoy in any weather and the coolest individual sleeping cozy spaces which are complete with blackout curtains and ventilation fans. You'll be just minutes from Czech Village, NewBo District, downtown, Interstate 380, and Hwy 30. Close to tons of great restaurants and fun entertainment, all while in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

The Lincoln Highway Hideaway

The Lincoln Highway Hideaway is a studio apartment nestled in Belle Plaine along the historic Lincoln Highway. A former Maid Rite restaurant, it features two queen-sized beds, a 3/4 bathroom with shower, and private parking. We focus on short term stays, although we sometimes rent a month at a time to traveling workers. (Please message me ahead of time with details if this situation pertains to you.) We offer a 15% discount/week. 40% per month.
