Black Squirrel Barn is a converted 3 bed 2 bath barn. It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am close by to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. Whilst It is in a rural location, the cabin provides close access to London by both train (29-minutes to London St Pancras) and car (A1(M)) along with a short drive to the local market towns of Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City and the large town of Stevenage. The Domek: Idyllic Hertfordshire cottage

The Domek is set within an idyllic courtyard of the Gotha Gardens at Pembroke Farm. The cottage accommodation is over two floors with an open plan sitting room, diner and vintage kitchen decorated in French farmhouse style, whitewashed beams and oak floors. The bedrooms are fresh and charming with a circular window in the double and a Juliet french window in the twin. The Domek also has its own reserved terrace overlooking the courtyard.

Our comfortable annex has generous parking, a large double bedroom, and a good sofa bed in the funky living/dining room. We are surrounded by lovely Hertfordshire countryside with access to our huge garden with its park like setting and rural views. Easy access onto A10 at Standon, walking distance to Standon Calling, 4.5 miles to Ware and trains to London. 30 mins to Stansted. 40 mins drive to Cambridge. Good place for cycling and walks
