The Pool House at Mill Cottage offers a unique riverside escape with exclusive access to a private pool (Mar 1st - Oct 1st 2025 & Apr 1st - Oct 1st 2026). Nestled on the Thames, enjoy easy access to riverside cafes and restaurants by foot or boat. The charming one-bedroom retreat features blackout blinds for restful nights, plus a small sofa bed for extra guests. We are situated right on the edge of the village; no where near busy roads so it’s blissfully quiet - just the sheep in the field and the church bells. We have some lovely pubs and a great farm shop selling local produce. And Oxford is only 15 mins away!

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - it’s now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe. The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

We invite you to stay in our spacious 1-bedroom apartment in central Wallingford. Situated on the 2nd floor of a historic building in the beautiful town square. The apartment has one bright and airy bedroom with a comfortable King size bed, a modern bathroom with shower over bath and a well appointed kitchen/lounge/diner. The convenient location is ideal for exploring Wallingford, Oxford and the surrounding areas. With allocated parking it is the perfect retreat for a memorable stay.

The Hayloft - luxury country retreat

A country hideout above our detached oak framed barn. Stylishly furnished in a rustic luxury theme ensuring this retreat ticks all boxes to make your stay comfortable & cosy! Very spacious and an ideal place to come and relax for a romantic countryside break. Fantastic pub in the neighbouring village that serves food most days (please check) and there is a very well equipped kitchen should you like to cook for yourselves. Easy access to Oxfordshire best countryside walks too.

Gardeners’ Cottage (Georgian stable conversion)

An entirely self contained cottage, recently converted from a Georgian stable and gardeners’ lodge. While adjacent to the owners property it is entirely separate, with its own secure parking and EV charger. Located in a small village, with two pubs on doorstep. Market town of Wallingford (setting for “Midsomer Murders”) is short walk, many amenities including boat rides on the River Thames an outdoor heated pool (summer), great restaurants and shops including Waitrose.

This is a charming, open plan, self-contained studio in a quiet location in a beautiful Oxfordshire village. It boasts a work station, furnished with ultrafast 300mb/s broadband, a table with 2 chairs, a home cinema (with screen and projector including Netflix and SMART TV), bluetooth HiFi and an exceptionally cosy loft double bed, plus modern kitchenette, bathroom and living area with two-seater sofa. Your welcome pack includes milk, tea & coffee, and breakfast items.

The Pool House

Relax and reset at the Pool House. The Pool House provides a quiet location where you can relax away from the world. Swim in our pool, heated during the warmer months. During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.

Tucked away in a peaceful and secluded setting, this stylish self-contained guest annexe offers a perfect countryside escape in the heart of South Oxfordshire.
