Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

A perfect 'tiny home' for visitors wanting a city break or a country escape or a blend of both. Use this haven as a base to see the sites, sounds and sports activities offered in the city of Bristol. Adventure on foot for gorgeous walks or cycle along the great network of cycle paths. Day drives to Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury, and surrounds are within easy reach. For those commuters who need access to Bristol International Airport, we are a stone's throw away (by bus or Uber).

A lovely guest house in the garden of a family home, in a quiet residential area. A short drive to local spots such Clifton Village, the harbourside, both universities, Ashton Gate, Southmead Hospital and the BRI, the Balloon Fiesta, and Cribbs Causeway. Easy access to Bristol Airport. Perfect for a Monday to Friday stay or longer lets. Access is separate from the main house and there is ample free parking on the street. The garden is shared with the family - we have a very friendly dog.

For families visit the Mendip ski centre, strawberry line cycle route, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, horse riding. Private HOT TUB available all year round.

LUXURY MODERN STUDIO: Spacious studio with free secure parking. Newly built, Wi-Fi, fully heated and insulated for all year round use. The studio is set within walking distance of Ashton Court Estate, and a short drive from Clifton Village and Central Bristol. Additional double bed available for an extra 2 guests; £60 fee per night, charged on arrival. Please specify this to the host, at the time of booking. NOTE: this studio is a separate dwelling within the grounds of main family home.

The Beehive, at Snatch Farm, Ubley is a new refurbishment of old farm buildings, tucked round the back of Snatch Farm. There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. With one bedroom and a sofa bed, it’s the perfect place to get away with family or friends. Hannah & Olly look forward to welcoming you to the Lodge. Family friendly, we have a two small boys and you are welcome to enjoy the spacious garden and kids toys (trampoline, wendy house, ride-ons, swing & slide).

Our cottage has been newly renovated to a high standard with your comfort in mind. It has been designed as an open plan living area with a new fully equipped kitchen. A comfortable bedroom with a king size bed, en suite bathroom with a large walk in shower. Patio doors lead to a pretty secluded garden. With the Langford brook running past and over looking the neighbouring fields a perfect place to eat al fresco. Underfloor heating throughout.

Fairywells is a self-contained barn conversion. It is attached to our stable block across the stable yard from our farmhouse. The property is newly converted. It is located in beautiful rural Somerset, yet ideal for central Bristol (15 minute drive) and Bristol Airport (less than 10 minute drive). There are lovely local walks straight from the property, with a footpath leading down to the pretty village of Barrow Gurney which has a pub and shop.
