The Guest House

The Guest House is a primitive cottage and resides on 400 acres outside of Barnesville, Georgia. Bunn Ranch is a working cattle and sheep farm. This space is a two story primitive cottage with primitive artwork and a claw foot tub. Sit in your choice of antique rockers that have been collected over the years. The floors and stairs were salvaged from an old home that was here on the farm. Surrounded by rolling hills and close to town, come enjoy some time for YOU! We will consider STR students.

If you're coming to relax, fish, work or enjoy the lake life, that's your opportunity to stay in a peaceful and beautiful house with lots of comfortable spots indoor and outdoor. Genesis House & Revelation House are also available on the same property. Hope House is nestled among pine trees in a quiet, secluded setting. The perfect place for honeymoons, anniversaries, celebrations, couple reconnecting, and small families. We have everything you need to feel right at home. There is a 3 1/2 acre pond, a walking trail, and so much more! The grounds are beautiful with trees, shrubs, and flowers. Fishing, paddle boating, cycling, and walking trails are available!

Into the macabre? Stay on the campus of what once was the largest mental asylum in the world. Stay in a fully renovated craftsman, 1920's cottage situated on the corner of a large pecan grove, across from the Central State Hospital infirmary. Walking, driving or trolly tours are available to learn all about the history of one of the nation's oldest and largest institutions for the mentally ill. Note: Buildings are closed to the public. There are no tours inside buildings.

Tiny Cabin in the Country

Our tiny cabin is on a secluded, wooded 20 acre homestead in a very rural area. It's a quiet place where everyone is welcome. There is almost no light pollution here; on a clear night you'll have an amazing view of the stars. The cabin has internet and a smart TV. We're one mile from downtown Irwinton's gas station, local diner, small local market, and Dollar General. Dublin, Macon, Milledgeville, I-75 and I-16 are all about a 30 minute easy drive with little traffic.
