Off of Rt 28N The hamlet of Forestport is located on the banks of the Black River off NY 28 in the southwest part of the town. Forestport has been called the "Gateway to the Adirondacks" since 1893.

A bunkhouse/cabin on Oneida Lake, with lake access and a new dock (in season). The cabin has five single beds, a fridge and a large bathroom (with multiple sinks, toilets & warm showers). There is WiFi, a TV, radio, etc. Guests have used the cabin as a base for boating, fishing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, or as a peaceful place to stay while in the area for work. There is a BBQ grill and a large fire pit on the grounds for guest use.
