🏠 Originally built and operated as a five-star hotel, this unique property is now our private family residence. We currently offer a limited number of spacious en-suite guest rooms for short stays, each featuring a private bathroom and 24-hour hot water for comfort and privacy. 🪑 Shared Guest Areas Guests are welcome to enjoy both our spacious Living Room and large Dining Room throughout their stay. 🛋️ The Living Room features oversized comfortable sofas, a small library with a selection of books, and plenty of space to relax, read, or unwind after a day exploring the Cotswolds. 🍽️ The Dining Room offers plenty of space to enjoy your own meals. 🥗 A shared refrigerator is available for guests to store their own food and drinks during their stay. 🧊 A microwave is also provided for reheating food (please note that cooking is not permitted). 🍲 We also provide basic tableware, including 🍽️ plates, 🍴 knives, forks, 🥄 spoons, and cups. 🧼 After using the tableware, simply leave it on the dining table and we’ll take care of the washing up. ✨ However, we kindly ask that you dispose of your own food packaging and other rubbish in the bins after your meal. 🗑️ Thank you! 🚧 Please note that the property is currently undergoing a gradual restoration and enhancement programme, primarily focused on the gardens, swimming pool area, and other exterior spaces. During your stay, you may notice ongoing landscaping, garden maintenance, newly installed outdoor furniture, or areas awaiting improvement, and some outdoor spaces may occasionally appear less polished than our long-term vision. We mention this for transparency, as previous guests have sometimes commented on the appearance of work-in-progress outdoor areas. All guest rooms and indoor communal areas are fully operational and maintained to a high standard. The property remains peaceful and quiet, with guest comfort being our highest priority throughout this process. ❌ The kitchen, swimming pool, and bar are currently not open to guests. Breakfast is not provided. 🔐 For convenience and flexibility, the property uses smart keypad door locks rather than traditional keys. Guests will receive a unique access code prior to arrival, allowing for easy self check-in at any time after check-in begins. ⏰ Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. 🔑 Our smart lock codes are activated from 3:00 PM on your check-in day, so access to the property is not available before this time. 🚗 If you arrive early, you’re welcome to park outside the property and return after 3:00 PM for check-in. 🧳 If you would like to drop off your luggage before check-in, please contact us at least one day in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. 🚫 Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate unannounced early arrivals, as the property is being cleaned and prepared for incoming guests between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
