The Battlefield Mall, Bass Pro Wonders of Wildlife, Cox and Mercy hospitals are all under 10 minutes away, and Downtown Springfield is a short 15 minute drive. If our East unit is a bit too small for your group, you can combine your booking with our West unit if available!

A newly built "tiny cabin" on 125 acres of Ozark fields and forest. Designed for those who want to sample a simpler life. Hike in our woods, ride bicycles, view wildlife, enjoy a bonfire and star gazing, or relax on the porch or in a hammock. The cabin is equipped with everything you need for your cabin experience, including a cooking supplies, linens, bath house and composting toilet. The cabin was originally built to be off-the grid, but now has electric, heat, ac, and a wood stove!

Carbondale Pool House - Sauna, Hot Tub, Dogs OK

Rated in “Top 1%” by Airbnb, the Pool House is a separate cottage surrounded by gardens and swimming pool, with retro "Danish Modern" furniture, a gourmet kitchen and plush beds. We have recently added a Finnish Sauna and Japanese Ofuro Soaking Tub. We accept well behaved dogs for a fee of $35 a night. We allow only guests and friends of the Pool House on the grounds, gardens or pool. Hosts are Jane, anthropologist and D. a retired photojournalist for the New York Times.
